Dr. Brent Wahl

Dr. Brent Wahl

Dr. Wahl is board certified in diagnostic radiology and internal medicine. He has been in private practice in diagnostic radiology since 1993. He received his medical degree from Creighton University in 1985. He completed residency in internal medicine with board certification in 1989. In 1993, Dr. Wahl completed his radiology residency and board certification at the University of Kansas. He joined Rocky Mountain Medical Imaging in Longmont in 1993 and has been its president since 1994. Dr. Wahl was a founding partner of Twin Peaks Medical Imaging in 2002. He served as Longmont United Hospital Chief of Staff in 2006 and is a member of the Longmont United Hospital Foundation.

A Denver native, born and bred, Dr. Wahl enjoys the Colorado outdoors in all seasons with his wife Fran and their three children, including hiking, biking, skiing and other sports. He’s been married for over twenty years and both have been very active in the community for many years. Fran helps manage a veterinary practice and active in the local community including the Humane Society, OUR Center, Women's Work, Longmont Hospital Volunteers, fundraising, many school functions and the local medical society.

Dr. Sachin Talusani

Dr. Sachin Talusani

Dr. Talusani received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center—San Antonio School of Medicine in 1994, and completed a residency in Radiology in 1999 at the University of Colorado Health Science Center where he was also Chief Resident from 1998 to 1999. He was board certified in 1999, then completed his fellowship at University of Colorado Health Science Center in 2000. Dr. Talusani is Chairman of Diagnostic Imaging for Longmont United Hospital and has been with Rocky Mountain Medical Imaging since 2000.

Dr. Talusani is a member of the Colorado Medical Society, Boulder County Medical Society, American Roentgen Ray Society, and previously was Representative to the AMA for the American Association of Academic Chief Residents in Radiology from 1998 to 1999. Dr. Talusani plays volleyball, attends sporting events, and enjoys learning about philosophy and history. His stated goal has been to visit as many of the world's greatest historical sites as possible, and as such he and his wife visited Greece recently.

Dr. David Goodbee

Dr. David Goodbee

Dr. David Goodbee graduated the University of Colorado in 1990 with a BA in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, and then pursued his Doctor of Medicine degree at Finch University of Health Sciences at The Chicago Medical School graduating 1995. An internship followed at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center in Denver. Dr. Goodbee completed residency in Diagnostic Radiology at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado from 1996 to 2000, where in the last year he was Chief Resident. At University of Colorado Health Sciences Center Dr. Goodbee completed a Fellowship in NeuroRadiology from 2000 to 2001, and Dr. Goodbee is also CAQ certified in Neuroradiology.

Dr. Goodbee has been with Rocky Mountain Medical Imaging since 2001, was Assistant Radiation Safety Office at Longmont United Hospital from 2005 to 2007 and has been a Board Member of Twin Peaks Medical Imaging since 2005. Since 2007 Dr. Goodbee has also been a member of the Quality Review Committee at Longmont United Hospital.

Dr. Goodbee has professional memberships in the Radiological Society of North America, American Society of Neuroradiology, Colorado Radiological Society, Boulder County Medical Society, American College of Radiology.

As a Colorado native Dr. Goodbee loves being in the mountains, whether telemark skiing in the winter or biking in the summer. Another passion is golf, but finding time to do that is a challenge as his toddler daughter keeps Dr. Goodbee and his wife very busy.

Dr. Hilarie Gutierrez

Dr. Hilarie Gutierrez

Dr. Hilarie Gutierrez graduated James Madison University in 1989 and received her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1995. She completed her internship at Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Denver, Colorado in 1996 and then Dr. Gutierrez completed her Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 2000, where she was honored in 1999 with an Outstanding Radiology Resident Research Award. Dr. Gutierrez completed her Fellowship in Breast and Body Imaging at the University of Washington, School of Medicine in 2001.

Dr. Gutierrez has been in private practice with Rocky Mountain Medical Imaging since 2004, and specializes in Breast Imaging (all aspects including stereotactic and ultrasound guided biopsies/aspirations, breast MRI, ductography, needle localizations) and PET. She is also able to do MR-guided breast biopsy; Ultrasound- and CT-guided biopsies & aspirations; and Basic MRI (brain, knee and spine) and CT.

Besides her passion for her family, her two young children, Gaby and Lexy, her husband Dr. Horacio Gutierrez, and “Big Guy” her older grey cat and the two young kittens who have recently joined the family, another passion is tennis. Dr. Hilarie Gutierrez is the captain of several women’s tennis teams and plays in many tennis tournaments. One proud tennis moment, among many, was when Dr. Gutierrez and her partner won the 3.5 women’s doubles at the LTA open. Skiing, camping, SCUBA diving, cooking, and extensive knowledge of wine are other pursuits she enjoys. Hiking is another sport she can pursue here in Colorado and abroad. While Dr. Hilarie Gutierrez and Dr. Horacio Guttierrez lived in the Northwest they climbed Mt. Ranier. Travel has been a mainstay in her life. Dr. Gutierrez’s father was a pilot and passed on the travel bug early in her childhood. She has enjoyed extensive travel and extended stays in Europe among many other locales.

Dr. Horacio Gutierrez

Dr. Horatio Gutierrez

Dr. Horacio Gutierrez graduated St. Lawrence University in 1990 in Canton, New York, with a B.S. in Biology. He received his medical degree from the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at State University of New York (SUNY) in 1994. Dr. Gutierrez completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the Sisters Charity Hospital in Buffalo, New York in 1995, then did his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center from 1995 to 1999, where he was Chief Resident from 1998 to 1999. In 2000, Dr. Gutierrez completed a Women’s/Body Imaging Fellowship at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado, and has been in private practice with Rocky Mountain Medical Imaging since 2004.

Dr. Gutierrez is fluent in Spanish and is a member of the following professional organizations: American College of Radiology, Washington State Radiological Society, and Colorado Radiological Society.

When enjoying the mountains Dr. Horacio Gutierrez likes to do both skiing and snowboarding in the winter and in summer he likes to get on his mountain bike. He loves camping, travelling and SCUBA diving. He has two children and is married to Dr. Hilarie Gutierrez.

Dr. Karl Magsamen

Dr. Karl Magsamen

Dr. Karl Magsamen graduated University of Colorado, Boulder with a B.A. and majors in History and Molecular Biology. He received his Masters in Public Health Degree with a major in Epidemiology from Emory University, Rollins School of Public Health in Atlanta, Georgia in 1992. Dr. Magsamen received his medical degree in 1998 from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. His internship in Surgery was at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, and he also completed his residency there in 2003. In 2004 Dr. Magsamen completed a Fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Stanford Medical Center in Palo, California.

Since 2007, Dr. Magsamen has been employed at Longmont United Hospital as a full-time diagnostic and interventional radiologist, and has also been with Rocky Mountain Medical Imaging since 2007. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Dr. Magsamen is a member of American Roentgen Ray Society, American College of Radiology, Colorado Medical Society.

Dr. Magsamen has finished two Ironman and will compete every other year, as long as he can fit it into his busy schedule. He also enjoys half Ironman races and he snowshoes in winter and does Cross Country marathons. Dr. Magsamen declares his wife and three young children to be wonderfully patient with the time commitment required of his athletic passions -- and when home he loves to cook French and Chinese food for his family and friends.
